More Mice More Ants And RV Renovation Continues

At least one mouse got into my new RV and made its mess overnight. Now I have another battle to fight.

Inside the off grid camper another wave of carpenter ants moved in over night and they are coming and going in droves. They found my ant bait on the kitchen sink. It had been sitting there untouched for weeks. Now they are all over it. So I put out two more ant baits and some boric acid from the dollar store. This is sold as ant and roach killer.

I worked on the RV some more, painting the bedroom walls on the other side with primer. Now it is really bright in there.

I also moved my Bedini motor to the RV full time so that I can leave it running 24/7. I had to shut it off at night in the camper so that I could hear predators attacking my birds.

Today it was overcast but I tried my new solar camp shower anyway. It is a Coleman brand camp shower from Walmart. Fill it, put it in the sun and two to three hours later you have a hot shower. I believe in full sun you could have a hot shower in an hour.

In the overcast weather we had I got a lukewarm shower, which is acceptable.
