Neighbor Paid For Survey & Found He Was Using My Land Oops

The other day on the way to drop off orders from our store a man was out doing a survey of the area for my neighbor out behind our property.

When I got a chance I grabbed my camera for a walk around to show you the property lines. Oddly the main corner marker is in the middle of a road. That would mean that a previous survey is correct and we all own 20 feet of the land across the road from us. Thats a mess.

I also was able to prove something I thought in that Lyle road curves deeply into our property, cutting a lot of land off. I cannot do anything about that but I dont think I should be paying taxes for a County road either. I wonder if I can get an adjustment for that or if it will even make much of a difference at all.

Down where my neighbor's property touches ours, the survey shows that he was indeed cutting trees on our land and clearing brush. He had grass growing and mowed the lawn where our wild land once was. There is about a 15-20 foot wide strip by 150 feet long he was clearing out even after I kept asking him to stay off our land.

But that one property marker has been moved before this last survey and since the previous one. Someone moved it closer to my land. I have to find my old videos to prove it though. Or pay for a survey myself.
