The Mindset To Help You Keep Gains (7 Years Straight)

In this video I discuss the mentality I have around working out and staying healthy to have remained in solid shape over the last 7 years in a row. Hitting the gym is a holistic activity that goes much deeper than looking good.

It started off in high school when I only cared for the big biceps and the massive Arnold chest. It eventually led to a way of life where I became in love with the process. Humans are meant to progress and hitting the gym is a direct reflection of seeing hard work pay off in a tangible way.

One of my struggles as a teenager was emotional release or expression. I had no knowledge or tangible ways to deal with anxiety, depression, or stress. When I started working out, this freed me to feel a sense of liberation. It gave me a way to overcome my mental and emotional blocks.

Now, if I take more than a few days off of working out, my brain gets foggy, I am not as sharp and I lose my drive and focus. I can always sharpen my saw in a way by making sure I am exercising consistently and it brings me back to power mode.
