Erie Inclusive Growth: A Framework for Action - July 8, 2022

Erie has a tremendous opportunity before it.
The unprecedented influx of federal funds by the Biden administration has created a chance for cities to make transformational investments that can secure long-term, sustainable, and equitable growth. However, much of the federal funding is arriving through a slew of different programs from different federal agencies all of which have different application and reporting requirements.

To make the most of this opportunity, Erie has developed a new tool, the Investment Playbook, "Erie Inclusive Growth: A Framework for Action," to identify priorities and organize its efforts. This Investment Playbook is a set of tangible and transformational projects that require cross-sector collaboration, are near-ready for investment, and contribute to equitable and sustainable economic growth.

The members of the Erie Inclusive Growth Steering Committee invite you to join the Playbook creators, Bruce Katz and Florian Schalliol of New Localism Associates, to learn more about this effort, the new "Nerve Center" created to ensure ongoing collaboration and how you can play a role in this next big chapter for Erie County.
