East Pomeranian, known natively as Ostpommersch or simply Pomeranian, is a Low German language from Pomerania, modern-day Poland. It is now most actively spoken by diaspora communities in Brazil.

There are an estimated 6.7 native speakers of Low Saxon. It is also a recognized minority language in Mexico, Bolivia, and Paraguay. For writing, Low Saxon uses the Latin alphabet; however, there is no true standard orthography, although several guidelines have been developed."
