Radio in Language Diversity | Conversations from Jamaica and Zambia | Wikitongues
Radio is a powerful tool used around the world to promote language diversity in media. Cordel Green, former Assistant Attorney General of Jamaica and Executive Director for the Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica, and Daniel Sikazwe, broadcaster at the Zambia National Broadcasting Company and Secretary of PEN Zambia, will share their experiences and provide tips for utilizing radio to build a revitalization movement.
As always, Wikitongues is thrilled to share another part of our toolkit for linguistic diversity - mediums such as radio, social media, music, arts, literature, and news (among many others) give us the ability to promote the use of peoples' native languages everywhere. For more information on how to promote your language, please visit our toolkit page: https://wikitongues.org/toolkit/
