Dora Springs Rehabilitation Work
In 2019, illegal trail use resulted in the destruction of an important riparian wetland area on the Palisades Ranger District, on the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Idaho . Forest Service Staff came together to develop a plan to rehabilitate the site and try to dissuade illegal trail use. This video shows the process and rationale for the efforts to conserve and protect public lands, while providing other opportunities for recreation. It also provides some tread lightly and appropriate riding etiquette.
