Oakland Food Scavenging

2009 was a hard year. Through a Public Records Act request, I obtained secretly recorded video that shows a man -- who looks like me -- scavenging for food in downtown Oakland.

The man, who appears sharply dressed, finds what appears to be Popeye's Chicken on the ground, eats the potato wedges and washes it down with some Red 40/High Fructose-induced grape drink, and walks off towards West Oakland.

The people need better food options. Food justice NOW!
