Diana Ross - He Lives In You (Hard Rock Casino, Wheatland, June 17, 2023)

Diana Ross performed at the Hard Rock Casino and Cafe in Wheatland, CA on June 17, 2023. One of the songs she performed was "He Lives In You," the hight song from the Broadway musical, "THE LION KING" that she covered on her 1999 album, "Everyday is a New Day." Her decision to sing the song even surprised her band, who didn't miss a beat and performed the song flawlessly. The only flaw is my video had to be filmed around the head of the person ahead of me. Still you could see his head swinging into view of my filming. LOL. You couldn't blame him for getting into the song but it's one of the dangers of sitting in the orchestra section at a Diana Ross concert. Her songs are infectious and dance-laden which makes it impossible to just sit and listen, which is why I try to sit at a distance or in the balcony. For those who complain that she is lip-synching through her concerts, this is further prove that she isn't. Why several "fans" feel she couldn't be singing as good as she is at her age, is beyond me. There's a reason Ms. Ross is a legend.
