Thelma Houston was amazing at the Cannery Casino in Las Vegas, NV on November 11, 2023. She opened for The Whispers and got the audience standing with her energy and enthusiasm. She looked great and her smile was contagious. I couldn't believe this former Motown diva is 80 years old! She and Diana Ross must be sharing secrets.

This was my third time seeing her, but I think this was one of the better performances of hers that I've been to. She sang one of her earliest recordings, "Saturday Night, Sunday Morning," along with her Motown Medley and a surprising rendition of Donna Summer's "Last Dance." But it was her Grammy-winning #1 disco classic, "Don't Leave Me This Way," that brought the house down! So, without further ado....
