01:00 1980 Medford, OK Rock Island - An interesting comparison at about the same time period. Notice the contrast in the Santa Fe and Rock Island facilities in the same small town. What a difference. This part of the former Rock Island was now operated by the OKKT. Many Rock Island employees were left without work when the railroad ceased operation in March 1980, never to return.
