It is estimated that up to 67% of all accessibility errors can be prevented in the design phase alone – meaning designers have a lot of control over the overall inclusiveness of digital products. But making your visual assets accessible is more complex than just choosing an inclusive font – it’s about thinking through all the ways you can make your design work for as many people as possible. Join me as I explain the choices you can/should consider in an accessible visual presentation using text, such as font, color, contrast, size, column width, spacing, kerning, and more.
