Rachel Cherry (She/Her) is a freelance software engineer and consultant with a focus on online accessibility, front-end web development, and higher education. She is the Director of Technology and Design for Equal Made, an organization working to improve web accessibility by providing accessible, equitable, and sustainable software and services. Rachel has worked in and for higher education for over fifteen years. She is the Director and Founder of WPCampus, a community and conference focused on using WordPress in higher ed. Through WPCampus, Rachel organized and raised money to fund the only accessibility audit ever performed on the WordPress software project. Rachel enjoys helping organizations address their online accessibility barriers and teaching others how to be more inclusive on the web. She is also fond of feminism, running, and tacos.
