Crispy fried mushrooms: how to prepare an even more delicious side dish!

INGREDIENTS
12-15 cremini mushrooms
150g (1 cup) of all-purpose flour
60g (½ cup) of cornstarch
3g (¾ tsp) of baking powder
15ml (1 tbsp) of soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
250ml (1 cup) of water
250g (2 cups) of breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil for frying

METHOD
1. Clean cremini mushrooms.
2. Whisk flour with cornstarch and baking powder. Add garlic, soy sauce, and water into the mixture and whisk well to make sure that there are no lumps left.
3. Deep-cleaned mushrooms into the batter, and let the excess drip off. Cover mushrooms with breadcrumbs and transfer into preheated oil. Fry for 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
