Applying the yudu emulsion sheet to a yudu screen can certainly be a little bit tricky the first time you do it. This video will give you a few tips to help make it easier.

First off your yudu emulsion sheet or capillary film is light sensitive, so you need to work under low light and work quickly. The sheets come in a black storage bag to make sure they are not exposed to any light. You need a counter top space to do this part on. Remove a sheet of emulsion film from the bag and place it on the counter with the dull side up. Then place the bag over the top of it to protect it from the light for the next few minutes.

You need a few other items together to complete this process. You need a screen, a squeegee, and a spray bottle filled with water set to mist.

Run your screen under some water and saturate the entire screen. Then shake off the excess water. Making sure you have the flush side of the screen on the bottom remove the bag from off the top of your emulsion sheet. Then set your screen on to the emulsion. The sheet will almost instantly grab to the screen everywhere. Any place that the film is not touching the screen mesh will have a white or grey look to it.

Quickly run your squeegee over the screen. This will eliminate some of the grey air pockets. Then any remaining spots should get a quick squirt with the water bottle. Run your squeegee over it again to make sure the sheet is in contact with the screen 100%. This part you must work quickly with enough water, but not too much water. This part will take some practice.

Then place the screen with the attached film into the drying rack of the Yudu machine.
The yudu emulsion sheet can take anywhere from 15 -- 45 minutes to dry depending on conditions.
