Snagit 2020 5 useful advanced features-includes all the updates

This tutorial on using the new version of SnagIt from Russell Stannard of Teacher Training Videos highlights five of his favourite advanced features.

SnagIt 2020 can be used for marketing and business purposes. I generate a fair amount of income from my YouTube channel, which I donate. A mini marketing video is created here in this tutorial. Watch as I add my voice over in the new version of SnagIt. A previous version of SnagIt allowed capture of a free-to-use image, such as a computer, in order to create a worksheet to use in ESL, EFL, TEFL or other language classes. I have used this with learners many times. It is also a short demonstration about turning an image into a worksheet. This video, like previous ones, shows you how to do this. This is a screen capture example which can be used in education.

The third part highlights parts of an image, drawing arrows and deleting whole chunks if necessary. Watch as I select part of an image as use auto-fill to delete and complete the background colour, which is useful for highlighting or drawing attention to certain things on an image. Great design idea. Websites use this a lot. This feature was available in SnagIt2019 and is available again in SnagIt2020. Thumbnails are another great feature of SnagIt. I find it excellent for creating YouTube thumbnails, those small images you see for every video on my channel. Watch this video as I demonstrate how to do this. I recently went through all my videos on this channel and updated the Thumbnails, and I continue to do this.

One major feature that comes with SnagIt2020 that was not previously available, is creating an image from a template. Template creation in the latest version of SnagIt is ideal for creating handouts. Watch this tutorial about SnagIt as, in the final part of the video, I explain how you can create worksheets or handouts. This is a great feature and I will show you how and why you might find this feature so useful. The example here shows you how to follow me, Russell Stannard. Here, a clear explanation is given for using SnagIt 2020 and all the existing and latest features. An example is given, where I make a super quick template, and a handout or document which could be printed… Brilliant for giving presentations. A great idea for teachers to give our worksheets in class time. This is a new feature in SnagIt2020.
