Great Lens (50mm) - Field Test and Review (demo w/ Nikon D3400)
Many have asked - what is the best/first lens to buy? Assuming you have a kit lens of some sort (i.e. 18-55 or something similar), I would recommend the fixed 50 f/1.8. I wanted to discuss and demo in more detail hence the this video:).
I used the Nikon D3400 and Nikon 50mm f/1.8 in this video and took all shots in RAW. In addition, I post processed each image to some extent in Lightroom. Regardless of your camera (Nikon (D3400, D5600, etc.), Canon (T6i, T7i, etc.), Sony (a6000, a6500, etc.), Panasonic, etc., the fixed 50 (or 35) should be a welcomed addition to your camera bag in my opinion:).

If you take a close look at the fixed 50, you might soon ask about the fixed 35. They are very similar with one exception - the focal length:). If you want more reach, go for the 50. If not, consider the 35. As mentioned in this video, I have the 35 as well and can produce another video focused on the 35. If interested, let me know in the comments below.
