How to take Portraits with a DSLR

The secret ingredient to an awesome photo is not the camera rather it is the photographer. The photographer sets the composition which is the foundation to any image regardless of the equipment.

If you are new to photography and have an entry level camera (i.e. Nikon D3400, D3300, etc.; Canon T6i, Canon 80D, etc.; Sony a6000, a6300, etc.), you can capture great/awesome portraits. Grab your camera and have some fun!:)
