166: European War Graves in Ulster by Nigel Henderson

At least thirty men from European countries died as a consequence of the two world wars and were buried in Ulster – most died during the Second World War. Some of the bodies have been subsequently repatriated to their home country for reburial. These men came from Poland, the Netherlands, Norway, France, Sweden, and Italy. In addition to men serving with fighting forces, some were Merchant seamen and one was an interned Italian civilian being transported to Canada. This talk will look at the lives and deaths of these men.
