'Michael McCormack the worst politician I've ever seen': Alan Jones

After 35 years in radio and having the ear of politicians around the country and the world, Sky News host Alan Jones says the "current leader of the National Party" is the worst politician he has ever seen.

Having been the speech writer for Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser and an influential broadcaster throughout the last three decades, Mr Jones has seen great politicians but he said the best was Margaret Thatcher.

"Margaret thatcher I thought was a giant of her time and that legacy will remain".
