Geode Style - Epoxy Resin in a Shadow Box

For this project, I used a shadow box, I had this made a long time ago for another project but didn't end up using it.

First, I covered the frame in duct tape to protect it from the spray paint and then sprayed the inside of the box in metallic gold.
Next, I mixed up approximately 400mls of resin, about half of what I need for the project. You don't want to mix too much when working on a project like this due to the working time of the resin. If you mix all of what you need, you run the risk of your resin curing too fast in the cup, as this kind of project takes time to work on.
Starting at the centre with the glass pebbles, the layers were then applied outwards to create the flow and pattern.
