I wanted to see if I could create a resin geode with only two colors since most of my geodes are pretty wild and busy. I was going for simple and elegant. I am SO happy with how it turned out. And I found out that you can indeed use only two colors and still end up with your piece being wild and busy! Ha ha! But I do think that it turned out beautifully.

This was my first piece on MDF board. I've heard some not so great things about it, but I think that the thickness that I purchased (3/4 in) combined with the primer/sealer seemed to keep it from warping at all.
