Spring Concert by The Ladies Chamber Orchestra and Benevolent Society with The Circle of Flutes

The "Ladies Chamber Orchestra and Benevolent Society" with "The Circle of Flutes" performed a Spring Concert at the First Babtist Church in Port Townsend Washington on April 24, 2017. Proceeds from the concert were donated to The Gathering Place in Port Townsend, http://www.gppt.org/home , an organization helping enhance the lives of adults with disabilities and finding ways for them to join the fun, and to the International Justice Mission supporting their efforts to end slavery around the world http://www.ijm.org/ .

The concert featured works by Eberhard Werdin, Maria Margherita Grimani, Wilhelmine von Bayreuth, J.S. Bach, Karl Friedrich Abel, Felix Mendelssohn, Stefani Germanotta (aka Lady Gaga), Nadir Khayat, Enriquie Granados, Giovani Palestrina, Friedrich Smetana, and Johnny Manuel.

Ann Lindquist premiered her original composition "Ode to Helen" honoring her late aunt, Helen Bonny.
