I Tried Dry Fasting For Ramadan! (Non-Muslim)

I tried DRY FASTING for the first time for one day during the Holy month of Ramadan. In this video, I also learn about Islam and talk to some of my Muslim friends about Ramadan and what Islam means to them!

We talk about how Muslims are perceived in America and misconceptions about the Islamic faith. This was such an amazing opportunity to learn about Islam by immersing myself in this ancient practice.

I am fascinated by the connection between mind, body, and soul and absolutely love learning about different spiritual practices, faiths, belief systems, and lifestyles, so this was such an amazing way to learn about Islam.

Instead of the five daily prayers that Muslims typically do each day, I decided to meditate instead. I have experience with fasting and intermittent fasting but NEVER have I ever done a dry fast without WATER! This was particularly challenging.
