We Went To An Intimacy Coach!

What does intimacy actually mean? In this video, my "friend" Kevin and I go to an intimacy coach for help navigating our new relationship. We've been dating for about seven months now, but still, find ourselves in the "gray area" and unable to decide what either of us want or if we want to take our relationship to the next level.

Dating in your 20s can be really difficult, especially in a big city like Los Angeles, CA. Kevin and I have been dating for about seven months and we are still in "the gray area." Both of us were really confused about what we wanted and where to take our relationship next. Should we be moving toward more of a committed relationship? Should we let it linger? Should we end things now? We were really confused.

Relationships and intimacy are a huge part of life and our overall health and wellbeing. I truly believe that cultivating a healthy, nourishing relationship with another human can be either incredibly healing and beautiful, or destructive and a detriment to our physical and mental health. How can we make sure that we are cultivating nourishing, healthy intimacy with ourselves and another human? In this video, we consult with a real expert!

To try and figure all of this out, Kevin and I went to an intimacy coach! Zoë Kors works with couples to help them cultivate a greater sense of intimacy with each other and themselves. Zoë talked to us about the three categories of intimacy and how this relates to our relationship.

We went through various exercises to explore physical, emotional, and energetic intimacy.
