Israel’s vote to annex West Bank ‘a very stupid political stunt’ says JD Vance

US Vice President JD Vance said on Thursday that President Donald Trump’s policy remains that the occupied West Bank will not be annexed by Israel.

He made the comment a day after Israeli lawmakers voted to advance two bills paving the way for the territory’s annexation.

Vance described the vote as “a very stupid political stunt” and said he felt insulted by it.
