The Road Trip Continues... Rainy Day in TIVAT | Drive MONTENEGRO E5

My road trip continues with a short drive to Tivat Montenegro - where I take a walk around its harbour Porto Montenegro & beautiful yacht lined waterfront. Tivat is known as the Monte Carlo of Montenegro!

Tivat is dominated by Porto Montenegro - a grand marina brimming with super yachts and luxury apartments. What started out as a small and quiet town in the Bay of Kotor has exploded into a prosperous and wealthy playground for the rich - known for its stylish promenade, upmarket shops and swanky waterfront restaurants.

Unfortunately my time in Tivat coincided with a rather fierce thunderstorm but I wasn’t going to let that get in the way. With dark and rainy skies above I took a walk through Porto Montenegro, meandered around Pine Marina, photographed the new clocktower and found some iconic statues and sculptures close to the waterfront.

The rain may have dampened the experience but it was still fun to do a little sightseeing in Tivat.
