3rd week using another black woman owned hair care brand, Yamoni Essentials!

Note: The curlers are by Perm for a day, and can be found under different names. Twirl-ups are the larger ones that I needed more of. I recommend a google search if you need them. Currently on eBay but have been sold out for a while.

Shampoo bar Cinammon:
Fragrant shampoo bar, and very sudsy very quickly! Stripping on application, so I do not recommend detangling, however upon rinsing, the stripped feeling goes away to reveal soft and easily manageable hair strands, along with a clean scalp!

Nourishing Cowash:
Very effective cowash. Moisturizing and slippery. Can also be used as a leave-in, although I only tested it out as a cowash and as a deep conditioner. While I feel it would work as a leave-in, the Genie in a bottle is a great leave-in so I would recommend that instead

D’tox Mask:
Kaolin clay-based mask, and effective as a clay mask. It created soft results post rinse-out, however as with any clay mask, it did not provide slippage on application.

Satin Silk Conditioner:
Very effective rinse-out conditioner, although I would recommend letting it sit for a couple minutes (if you wash your hair in sections, the time it takes to move from section to section is more than adequate) before detangling. It has slip on application, but a lot more after it has had a minute to work. Hair felt amazing while rinsing.

Genie in a bottle Leave-in conditioner:
Very moisturizing, and enhances the moisture from the conditioner (either dtox or satin silk). Effective as a base for your LOC/LCO

Whipped Flaxseed Souffle:
Very (very) moisturizing, offers really great hold, and fantastic moisture retention for both twistouts and braidouts. My twists felt incredibly hidrated 7 days later, and I do not re-up throughout the week. Fantastic!

Gold Lust Hair oil:
I bucket this in with the Flaxseed soufflé as an amazing combo. The oil does a great job of locking in moisture, and it also provides a nice shine

Overall: RECOMMEND the full collection 👍🏽

✔️ Great wash day routine for type 4 natural hair
1. Prepoo (detangle with conditioner + separate hot oil treatment)
2. Exercise (for “steam” oil treatment)
3. Shampoo (cleanse)
4. Deep condition (moisturize / repair)
5. Styling products. Either an all-in-one, or leave-in, cream, oil (LCO)
6. Twist
7. Wait 1-2 days (time to dry)
8. Twist out
