BoB123 6.3 | Black Woman owned natural hair care brand 🧖🏽 Rajeeyah Sweet Naturals
This video is my second of three wash day reviews using Rajeeyah Sweet Naturals, another black woman owned natural hair care brand in my BoB1😎23 series.
💬 Have you ever tried these products? I'd love to know your thoughts. Mine are below!
Acai Berry Shampoo Bar:
This felt like a clarifying shampoo and was very affective. I recommend you do not leave it to sit for several minutes as I experienced scalp irritation when I did that. HOWEVER, weeks 2 and 3, I did not leave it to sit and it was great! apply, rinse, then repeat if necessary. Once I applied water to rinse out the product, the clarifying feeling left, leaving behind soft and manageable strands. Great cleanser and fantastic ingredients
Hibiscus Deep Treatment Masque:
This was a good deep conditioner (and it smells really good!). It didn't have a ton of slip, but was very softening. It caused a large amount of shrinkage so it did a great job of absorbing into my hair. My hair felt really really good after the product had a chance to sit. After rinsing, my hair still felt great. That's not always guaranteed even if a product feels amazing on application, so that means something!
Raw Honey Sweet Almond Deep Conditioner:
This deep conditioner was better in MY hair than the Hibiscus. It felt great on application, and allowed me to detangle. It is not incredibly slippery, but felt great and did allow me to run my fingers through my hair. (I detangle with my pre poo so do not depend on slippery DCs). This product is thicker than the Hibiscus, made my hair softer, and caused more shrinkage
Aloe Hibiscus Leave In Conditioner:
My favorite product in the collection! It smells great, and provides a really great amount of hydration and slip! not much more to say there. It provided a great foundation for styling.
Mango Kiwi Curl Cream:
Less slip than the shea moisture coconut moisture cream, but very moisturizing. Did a great job of defining my curls on application.
Shea Coconut moisture cream:
Had great slip, felt more substantial in my hair (my hair prefers thicker products) and provided great hold throughout the week. Yielded slightly better results (more moisturized twists) at style takedown vs the mango kiwi curl cream.
Overall, this was again, an amazing black woman owned brand, and I recommend you try all of the products to see which better suit your hair!
