An unusual stormy ocean along the coast of Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
5-5-19.

In the area of the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay.

Shot with my GoPro Hero 7 Black using the internal mic and a wind buffer.

We had a decent-sized swell but the wind was howling in from the NW. Well, first the effects of the incoming winds and then the wind itself. Victory at sea conditions.
A small sea arch in the beginning.
The hissing sound you hear periodically is from waves crashing into the cliff/coast filling small lava tubes and forcing the air up through the porous lava rock.

As you can see it was a beautiful day.

The volcano stopped months ago and it could be years before it gets going again. I have tons of other videos I've been wanting to make so, now I can get busy on them.
