A couple of Nene visited me while I was at the ongoing summit eruption at Kilauea volcano in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
One was curious about my bike.

The nene, also known as the nēnē or the Hawaiian goose, is a species of bird endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. The nene is exclusively found in the wild on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, Molokai, and Hawaiʻi. In 1957, it was designated as the official state bird of the state of Hawaiʻi.

The first clip is from my Samsung S10e phone and the other my GoPro 8.

It's illegal to harass or feed them but sometimes they come right up to you uninvited.
They patrol the parking areas for food scraps.
