Lauri Markkanen. The FINNISHer earned his nickname because he is NOT just a shooter. This man can really shoot the rock, he is the fastest player to reach 100 career 3 pointers in the league still, but he’s not one dimensional by any means. He’s a stretch big, but he’s crafty as a creator, the Bulls found success running big-big pick and rolls in Lauri’s rookie year, and he’s continued to evolved his ability to punish any switches by going into the post. “My personal goal is that whenever you switch, you will regret it” Markkanan said (link below).

Like I said, Lauri’s got the ability to put the ball on the floor. He can stretch you out with his range, and he’s got the force that will make you have to fight every single possession. He’s long, strong, and his game is still very much on the rise. The sky is the limit for the young Bulls if they can continue to grow together and avoid the pitfalls of skipping steps as a franchise.
