In 2016, LeBron became the first player in NBA history to lead his team in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals in a playoff series. James joined Jerry West and James Worthy as the only players to record a triple-double in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. In 2017, he became the league’s ALL-TIME leading playoff scoring leader, and was the first to average a triple-double in the Finals. In 2020, LeBron passed Derek Fisher for most postseason wins in NBA history when the Lakers beat the Rockets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Basically, LeBron is very good. I included a clip of LeBron getting hot against San Antonio and Stan Van Gundy on the call saying that Bron’s best attributed are passing and attacking the basket and YET he’s putting on a shooting clinic. That’s largely what people have seen from LeBron: he’s minimized the holes in his game to the point that he’s easily one of the most fluid scorers in the game after a decade plus of teams daring him to beat them with his jumper.

This video had to be twisted around in all sorts of ways because different iterations of it got taken down before I could even post them. So expect a part two of this. Hopefully THIS one gets published and gets to stay up. Sorry for the delay!
