Lumsdale falls is a beautiful set of falls just outside of Matlock.

Like most waterfalls it can be very slippery in places and so I'd recommend some good walking boots and poles if you want to get right down to the stream.

The higher falls are narrow and flow faster than the lower falls and so I had to use different exposure times in order to control the detail in the water.

It depends on how long you wish to stay of course, but I'd recommend allowing at least 2 hours to shoot the falls from top to bottom.
