How Much Do You Pay a Realtor?

🏡So how much do you pay a Real Estate Agent? Who exactly pays anyway? And why do those dang agents never want to come down on their asking price?

I breakdown all of the above questions and more in this video. Complete with a dry erase board, two(!) camera shots, an echo -filled room, and even a cat cameo I explain who pays a real estate agent, how much an agent is paid, and how much the agent actually gets to take home after the transaction is final. I also bring up the topic of negotiating with your realtor when they present their asking price to you.

As always, I enjoy talking with other people about this and I would love to know what your thoughts are on the matter. Are agents too greedy? Or are they just misunderstood? Perhaps it is on a case by case basis. I want to know what you think!
