One of the issues some business owners have found is the issue regarding their photos. They find they are not able to delete them from the Google My Business dashboard. What most business owners don't realise is this is accomplished by going into Google maps.

After watching some of your videos I thought I'd start using GMB more and unlock more of it's potential so logged on and went through my photos. I wanted to tidy the whole thing up and remove old or irrelevant images. I noticed that some images didn't have the delete (bin) symbol top right.

After some research, I found other people had similar issues. Some were asking about customer added photos and that they couldn't find a way of deleting them. I then realised that some of the images I'd added were probably while I wasn't signed in so they appeared to be equivalent to images customers had added.

The only option seemed to be filing a request to have images removed which would obviously be quite an involved task.

So what you need to do to Delete Google My Business Photos is:
Go to maps,
Click on settings
Then 'your contributions'.
Then you have option to see photos
Click on one of the ones you want to delete
You will now see the option to delete.

Easy when you know how isn't it?
However, most business owners would never have thought to go into maps to edit photos for Google My Business even though we know they work together.
