What is Google My Business?
It’s a question that many ask and few answer...today that changes.
1000s out there just want it explained clearly and easily. If you know nothing other than it's from Google or its something that everyone says will help my business then this video and article is tailored for you.
Actually, let me give you a warm welcome to my video channel. It has been built with several aims. But one that is a constant is providing videos that explain what Google My Business. This video channel presents itself at several different entry levels to suit you. This is the beginning.

Is Google My business complex?
Well is explaining the taste of a banana complex? Yes and no. Explaining a complex item can be challenging. Imagine an alien came to earth explain how a mobile phone works, remarkably we take it for granted today...but it was only just over a decade ago we saw Apple release the iPhone summer 2007. Alternatively, can you describe the taste of a banana?
With the banana, you need to either try it or relate to it. So if asked, Can you describe the taste of a banana, some may say sweet. Others may ask well have you tried a melon or pineapple as it’s a similar taste. The point is many need something they can relate to.

So GMB is based on several things you will know and have tried before. So is Google My Business difficult to explain? Not really.

Google My Business (GMB) is a free tool from Google that helps business owners manage their online presence across the search engine and its growing portfolio of utilities. Seasoned SEO professionals use GMB listings to leverage a location-based strategy. Creating a GMB listing is the first step to local search success

With a mobile phone, does the alien understand how a computer works on his spaceship, or does he understand visual communication etc. You're looking for a common starting point

Assume you know what yellow pages were in the 70s...lists and lists of businesses indexed, so if you need a plumber, you want s local hearing aid fitter, or s local fence fitter....local business index
Check a trade or trip advisor, it places you go to for recommendations, you want trustworthy ratings from real customers....reliable reviews

GMB is trustworthy results with a visual place on a map, local to you and with reliable reviews
