NEWS | 12,000-Year-Old Human Footprints Discovered in Utah, USA | Ancient Architects

Two researchers have discovered 88 well-preserved human footprints on the salt flats of the Air Force’s Testing and Training Range, in Utah, USA.

Daron Duke of Far Westen Anthropological Research Group and Thomas Urban of Cornell University were driving to an archaeological hearth site at UTTR when Urban spotted what appeared to be what are known as ghost tracks – tracks that appear suddenly for a short time when moisture conditions are right, before disappearing again.

Urban knew exactly what they were, as he had investigated similar pints found at White Sands National Park in New Mexico, where the earliest evidence of human activity in the Americas was discovered.
