In 1988, Kuya Germs commissioned me to compose a theme song for SILVERGERMS, Mr. German Moreno's Silver Anniversary TV Special. It won Best Original Song at the 1st Bahaghari Awards (GMA7) in 1994. I asked my good friend Dodjie Simon to write the lyrics, based on Kuya Germs' life story. Listen to this timeless version of Ms. Nora Aunor, the one and only Superstar. Ate Guy and I recorded this song which was intended for commercial release. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the album was shelved. I will forever cherish the times I shared with Ate Guy, my childhood idol! To all Noranians like me, this is for you! I will always love you, Ate Guy!!!
