The tallest trees on EARTH!

WOW..this one is epic guys! I did a delivery in Central California and of course I had to turn it in to a camping trip to the Redwoods! Not much chatting about plants in this one...just some gorgeous scenery and exploring some of the oldest and BIGGEST trees in the world!

We camped in Little Basin Campground which was super wooded and dense. We got site 42 which was spectacular with all the hollowed-out tree trunks. Pretty much all the sites are densely wooded and in fairly close proximity to water and restrooms...cant go wrong with any site in Little Basin. Just be sure to make reservations in the busy season! We also explored around a little bit and ended up at Big Basin Redwoods State Park....ummm epic x 100! Heres the link: http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=540

Theres a couple short loops that are easy for anyone to take, even with kids. Lots of families here visiting and exploring! Here you can see the Father of the Forest...a MASSIVE tree in the middle of the loop that stands about 250 feet tall! And then, the equally as fantastic Mother of the Forest that stands about 293 feet tall!

Bring your wide angle cameras on this trip guys...these trees are GINORMOUS! ...and watch out for the Banana Slugs!!
