Khanyisa takes a flying run into the new day and the female elephants enjoy a peaceful dust bath

Khanyisa starts this bright new day with a gallop from the orphanage to the elephants and off into the bush the herd go. Enjoy some moments at the dam with all the elephants wrapped around the water's edge for a drink, spot Timisa with Bubi, Kumbura and bulls Somopane with his thick long tusks and Sebakwe with his tusks that turn upward. 🐘🌿🐘

Khanyisa finds the perfect place to kick up some sand in a slight ditch out in the reserve and Timisa plays beside her while adoptive mother, Lundi walks over to join the little ones. Soon all the females are stepping into place around the prime dust bath location and Kumbura takes on the role of guardian, watching over the wilderness beside the huddle. Limpopo and her other Tokwe joins the females too while to the side Fishan grazes peacefully in the low grass and vegetation. 

Jabulani spends some time beside carer, Last, who rests on a fallen tree, and Sebakwe and Somopane enjoy the peace and quiet and some sand of their own close by. 🌞🐘

There are sightings of giraffe and various birdlife, and certainly all the sounds of the bush, to accompany the scenes here. The peace of nature is profound, and the herd just merge into their surroundings with ease and gentleness.
