World health day 2023

DAV Centenary Public School , Mianwali Nagar / Paschim Enclave , Delhi, celebrated World Health Day today to mark it’s 75th anniversary. Dr Anshu Asri , Medical officer of the school talked about WHO’s vision of attaining heath for all in the school assembly . She said that one should reflect on what positive changes they have brought in their life to attain good health. If not , then it is time to take action . Year 2023 being international year of millets ,she urged everyone to include millets in their diet . She advocated that by eating healthy, exercising regularly, following hygiene and taking prompt treatment when sick can go a long way in achieving health.Members of team code blue presented an interesting medley advocating heath messages. The highlight of the day was the message of accepting and understanding autism since health is a basic right for all . This coincides with April 2 being World Autism day .Later Principal , Madam Sonia Malik flagged off the campaign led by Dr Parul Goyal , interact incharge . Students vociferated slogans as well as recited a health themed medley . Madam Sonia Malik appreciated the efforts of the students in advocating for health.
