Oral hygiene ( Launch Pad )

Under the peer health education program "SAKHA," Team Code Blue launched "Launch Pad" – a project where each member addresses a health issue they're passionate about. Avni of team code blue conducted a workshop on Oral hygiene as it is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of overall health.Using a PowerPoint presentation, Avni introduced key concepts of maintaining healthy teeth and gums, highlighting common oral‑care mistakes, and explained the benefits of regular brushing and flossing. A special emphasis was placed on the importance of using dental floss to remove plaque between teeth that brushing alone cannot reach. The session concluded with an interactive quiz to reinforce learning and encourage participants to apply the tips in their daily routines.Avni’s session likely helped her peers understand that oral health is not just about a bright smile, but also about preventing infections and maintaining systemic health.
