Ep.2 Yelapa, Jalisco : “Terror on the High Seas, Pepe Le Pew, and Final Farewells”

Hello 🇲🇽 #Yelapa 😎!!! Yelapa is a remote beach destination just south of Puerto Vallarta but can only be reached by boat. It’s the general consensus that the trip from Boca de Tomatlan, is the best takeoff point based on proximity, price, frequency of private and public boat transportation as well as the quaint charm of the small fishing village. Parking is generally a concern if you’re overlanding, #RVing or driving a rental\personal car and want to leave your vehicle overnight but Boca has several locations to park that are carefully monitored and considered taboo in the village to mess around with. Save the hassle and spend a few bucks to park in the gated parking area or for larger vehicles, one of the outer parking lots in the heart of town. Extended street parking is not recommended. Enjoy our trials, tribulations as we ironically make our first overlanding journey to a place only accessible by boat😉
