The journey of “Yuchen 2”, EP65

Sailing further south along Guadeloupe we braved to go into marina Rivière Sens which has a very shallow depth, but turned out to be a quiet, convenient and friendly place. All you need in walking distance and interesting live-aboard neighbours (Serge and Isabelle) with loads of local information and suggestions for our further route. Nice walks in forest, Basse-Terre city and Delgre fort. The city was still partly deserted after a long evacuation period due to La Soufrière volcano's awakening. After 10 days of relaxing, we moved on to The Saints, an island group south of Guadeloupe meeting a whale not far of the boat as a highlight. In le Bourg, we picked up one of the last free buoys.
