The journey of "Yuchen 2", EP41

Leaving friendly Carloforte behind, we pointed the bow straight west for a 240 miles passage to Mallorca. The promised northerly wind decide to be more northwest so we were sailing high on the wind for the first day and night and well into the second day. By noon the wind shifted more north and got stronger resulting in beam on rolling waves, which isn't the most comfortable. Arriving too earlier morning, we slowed down, and picked up a buoy in familiar Porto Petro. Next day we took a bus to Santanyi market. Busy busy with prices doubled from what we remembered from four years ago.
The wind stayed strong for the next week, making for a choppy sea and rolling mooring. Paella from our favourite restaurant made up for much of the discomforts.
