How to do Planks correctly?
HOW TO DO A PLANK CORRECTLY?
Do you avoid planks because you feel that they are too difficult/painful or is it that you can't hold them for more than a few seconds?
Watch the video and perform them this way. For a long time I faced this too but over a period of time with the help of my teachers and my willingness I got better at it.
In this video, I am sharing the information I gathered with regular practice and it has worked for me really well! Planks have made me stronger and has also helped me increase my focus and mental threshold.
DETAIL ALERT-One more detail that I forgot to mention in the video(but can be very much seen all the time) is to keep your Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist in one line! If you are attempting an elbow plank then make sure to keep your elbow and shoulder in one line and push the forearm against the floor throughout.
Go ahead and try! With regular practice in this way you will feel stronger and more aware of your body. Just stay focused and keep your mind calm by staying with your breath.
