Rapid Resolve - IntelliScript

DaVinci Resolve 20 Studio has adopted several AI-powered tools to help in your editing. IntelliScript uses the transcription tool to match shots and generate a timeline using the original script. In other words, you can transcribe your footage in Resolve, export it, edit it in a word processor, bring it into Resolve, and Resolve will create a timeline based on your edits.

1. Create a script file in the .txt format. You can do this in Resolve by selecting the footage that you want transcribed in the Media Pool and clicking the Transcribe button.
2. Edit the script in another application. Save it as a .txt file.
3. Back in Resolve, select the clip that you want to use for IntelliScript, right-click - AI Tools - Create New Timeline Using IntelliScript.
4. Resolve will ask for you to load the .txt file and press Open.

When it is complete, you will have a new timeline laid out of the clips in order.

Note:
- Alternative takes are placed on a disabled track.
- You can review the best take and enable/disable them as needed.
