Creating a New Library in Final Cut Pro

You can create new libraries in Final Cut Pro by doing any of the following:

1. File - New - Library and store it in a location that provides fast read/write speeds and enough storage to save your library.
2. Select an event in a library, File - Copy Events to Library - New Library. Save the library in a location that provides fast read/write speeds and snout storage to save your library.

You can't store a library on a storage device that is used for Time Machine.
