Rare! Metro train stops halfway into station after emergency at Lionel-Groulx Metro Station 🚇

On the evening of Monday, September 12, 2022 at approximately 5:55 pm, a medical emergency at Lionel-Groulx Metro Station resulted in a service disruption on the Orange Line for approximately one hour. 🟠
(Note: in the video I mistakenly said Wednesday instead of Monday, when it was in fact Monday).

According to what I saw and heard, a person fell onto the tracks right as a metro train was approaching the platform in the Côte-Vertu direction. The person did not seem seriously injured and was taken away for medical treatment.

The incident also resulted in a very rare scene: a metro train stopped halfway into the metro station. This is the first time I've ever seen this situation occur in person and that I've ever filmed. You can also see both sets of doors open as well on the train which is also very rare of course.

The metro train involved was AZUR Set 63 and as you can see in the end of the video, it was slowly removed from the station, presumably for an inspection / maintenance check.

Also in the video, you can see some interesting emergency vehicles, including the rare Urgence Métro vehicle 87-077.
